Avicenum ORTHO 1500 Ankle orthosis type 01
Avicenum ORTHO 1500 Ankle orthosis type 01 is manufactured by the flat knitting technology. The materials used are non-irritating and latex-free. There are two anatomically shaped silicone pads integrated from the medial and lateral sides of the orthosis which improve proprioception (the ability to coordinate the body in space), thereby providing muscle support (ankle stabilization). The silicone pads have a massaging effect, helping to absorb swelling and blood clots.

Put on the product by gradually pulling it over the ankle so that the silicon supports fit
to both the lateral and medial malleoli. Never put on the orthosis by merely pulling the
top edge – always put the orthosis on gradually. It is best to put on the orthosis in the
morning (while sitting) before any physical strain. When putting on, the product may
not come into contact with sharp objects (e.g., jewellery) or long nails. Intensive care
for your feet (no rough skin on the heels) will decrease the risk of damaging the product
and increase its life.
Stretch the orthosis evenly without creases for effective distribution of pressure.
If you use body cosmetics, wait about 15 minutes after application before you put on
the orthosis .
In the case of visible mechanical damage to the orthosis, stop wearing it and preferably
replace it with a new product.
