BrownGuard 100 arm sling type 03 is a fixation sling for the upper limb made of cotton fabric 3D knit, with an additional strap over the thumb and a padded strap passing over the neck for suspending the arm. The materials used in its production are non-irritating and latex-free. The arm sling works by affixing the upper limb in an ideal position, thus achieving the necessary therapeutic effect. The sling holds the shoulder joint, elbow joint, and wrist of the affected arm in a “pocket” that provides support in an ideal, natural position, preventing damage to the muscles and joints of the upper limb. Thanks to the fixation strap over the thumb, the sling does not slip and fits well.

Insert the upper limb into the pocket of the sling and use the padded strap to suspend it around the neck, adjusting the length of the strap with the metal buckle. Secure the position of the upper limb in the sling using the additional strap over the thumb. The recommended arm flexion is 90°. For better fixation of the upper limb, use the additional tape, which you attach around the torso using hook-and-loop fasteners. In case of visible mechanical damage, do not continue to use the sling and, ideally, replace it with a new one.
