BrownGuard 100 peroneal brace type 01 – short version
BrownGuard 100 peroneal brace type 01 is made of materials that are non-irritating and latex-free. The peroneal brace comes in long and short versions. The long version fastens below the knee and the short version just above the ankle. The circumference of the band at the knee or ankle can be infinitely adjusted with a hook-and-loop fastener. The end of the peroneal brace is equipped with a hook that attaches to the shoe lace and the length is adjusted by a buckle with a hook-and-loop fastener. The effect of the peroneal brace is based on the support of dorsal flexion of the foot, raising the toe. In order to achieve the desired effect, the peroneal brace must be adjusted correctly to achieve better coordination of movement during walking.

Anchor the peroneal brace with the hook-and-loop fastener below the knee or above the ankle, depending on its type (long or short). Fasten the buckle with a hook on the shoe laces in the upper part of the shoe. Pull the tape through the buckle to adjust the length so that the tape lifts the toe into its natural position. If the peroneal brace is visibly damaged, stop wearing it and replace it with a new one.
