BrownGuard 2000 infra-patellar strap type 01
BrownGuard 2000 infra-patellar strap type 01 is made of 3D knit fabric. The materials used for its production are non-irritating and latex-free. A silicone insert is placed in the tape, which helps improve proprioception (spatial awareness) through its massage effect and helps to reduce pain and possible inflammation by applying adequate pressure on the knee joint. The tape supports the patella, fixes its path and applies even pressure to the tendon underneath via a silicone cushion. This helps to reduce the dynamic forces that arise during long walking, running or jumping, thus producing the necessary therapeutic effect and reducing the pain.

Slide the leg into the infra-patellar tape and place it on the knee so that the integrated silicone cushion is against the infra-patellar (hamstring) tendon. Using the hook and loop fastener, tighten the infra-patellar tape so that the pressure on the knee is not uncomfortable. The infra-patellar tape should not come into contact with sharp objects (e.g. jewellery) or long nails when putting it on. The infra-patellar tape must be placed precisely on the painful or inflamed area to distribute the pressure effectively. If you are using body cosmetics, wait about 15 minutes before applying. In case of visible mechanical damage, do not use the tape further and preferably replace it with a new one.
