BrownGuard 2000 wrist orthosis type 01
BrownGuard 2000 wrist orthosis type 01 is made of 3D fabric. The materials used for its production are non-irritating and latex-free. The palm part of the orthosis features an anatomically shaped, removable splint and two other smaller splints on the sides of the wrist, which in combination with hook-and-loop fasteners improve support and fixation of the wrist joint. The wrist orthosis works through compressive action and fixation in the wrist area, which produces the necessary therapeutic effect.

Put your thumb through the opening in the orthosis. Fit the orthosis so that the support splints sit on the wrist. Tighten the orthosis using the hook-and-loop fasteners so that the pressure on the wrist is not uncomfortable. When putting on the orthosis, it should not come into contact with sharp objects (e.g. jewellery) or long nails. The orthosis must be stretched evenly, without folds, so as to achieve the most effective pressure distribution. If you use body cosmetics, wait about 15 minutes after application before putting on the orthosis. In case of visible mechanical damage, do not continue to use the orthosis and preferably replace it with a new one.
